Playa Blanca, Canary Islands

Playa Blanca is the sunniest and most southerly resort in Lanzarote, boasting many fine golden sandy beaches with placid waters and a beautiful promenade bordered by many picturesque restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Stretching from the new Marina Rubicon towards the old fishing harbour, then on to the Pechiguera Lighthouse Playa Blanca has lots to offer and explore.

The resort boasts many supermarkets, an excellent variety of shops, restaurants and bars. There is a good quality local bus and taxi service. A craft market is held in Marina Rubicon every Wednesday and Saturday morning which is well worth a visit.
