This villa is just 200 yards from the Beach and features fantastic 360
degree sea, Fuerteventura and mountain views. It comprises four Bedrooms
(two doubles and two twins) and can comfortably sleep ten people (a
fifth twin can be made from 2 sofa beds in the cinema room) Velero has
two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, private heated pool & like
all of our villas, it is furnished to the very highest standard. It
has full UK satellite TV and welcomes young children & babies. From

Interior
This beautiful, architect designed, two storey villa is furnished to
a very high standard. The lounge area features patio doors looking out
to fantastic 180 degree views over the sea to Fuerteventura and the
island of Lobos. It encompasses extensive, stylish, comfortable seating,
a huge 32" plasma screen TV with full UK satellite tv and DVD player,
opening in to a well-equipped modern kitchen with patio doors leading
to the upper terrace dining area. The lounge also leads to a large double
room, a twin room and the upper bathroom. Stairs lead to down to the
cinema room which features a 3 metre wide cinema screen with dolby surround
sound which is ideal for watching dvd's. Patio doors lead from the cinema
room onto the lower terrace. The cinema room also leads to a kingsized
bedroom with access through patio doors to the lower terrace, a twin
room and the lower bathroom. Villa Velero is fully child friendly and
is equipped with stair gates, cot's and highchairs if required.
Exterior
A large patio area surrounds the 7x4 meter swimming pool. The pool is
electrically heated and is accessed by roman steps. Stairs lead from
both the upper and lower terraces to an enclosed and totally private
swimming pool terrace area. The upper terrace and pool terrace feature
spectacular views across the sea to Fuerteventura, ideal for relaxing
whilst listening to the waves lap against the shore. The upper terrace
has has generous patio dining furniture, romantic lighting in the evenings
and a gas BBQ. The large lower terrace is a perfect for lazing in the
hammock during the day, or enjoying a game of darts and a few drinks
in the evening. The pool terrace is surrounded by indigenous Canarian
plants and with the pool lit in the evening this completes the picture
for wonderful long hours of al fresco living in this glorious warm and
sunny climate.
Amenities
The villa is located in Playa Blanca 200 yards or a 2 minute walk to
the beautiful, sheltered and sandy Playa Montaña Roja beach.
It's a small private beach (ideal for young children as they can't run
too far away!) and slopes gently out to sea. It is only a 3 minute walk
to the beautiful Rubicon Palace Hotel which is a beautiful setting for
enjoying a drink or a meal of for the more energetic using their gym
and spa. The Natura Palace hotel is also only a five minute walk away
where guests can enjoy the fabulous Thalasso spa which offers a 10%
discount off all treatments for our villa guests. The "La Mulata"
complex is only a 5 min stroll along the promenade from the villa and
features the best cocktail bar in Playa Blanca (Marea) as well as a
beach bar and several 5 star restaurants (We currently recommend the
Greek restaurant, it's amazing). Playa Blanca centre is approximately
a further twenty minute walk or two minute drive from the villa. In
recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing
village into a fashionable tourist resort and has retained a great deal
of its original character. A pretty promenade runs along the seafront
and is lined with bars, restaurants and shops. The amazing Papagayo
beaches are only a 10 minute drive away and are famous throughout Spain
for their unspoilt location, golden sands and aquamarine, clear waters.
The unspoilt Canarian villages of Las Breñas, El Golfo and Femes
are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfaya.
The recently opened, Puerto Rubicon Marina is a ten minute drive (or
50 min walk) from the villa and is the location of many exclusive boutiques,
bars and restaurants.The pretty harbour of Playa Blanca is the departure
point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands
of Fuerteventura and Isla Lobos. We can offer private trips on our 40ft
